What is golden each?

Golden eagles are large birds of prey found across North America, Europe, and Asia. They are known for their impressive wingspan, reaching up to 7.5 feet, and their distinctive golden plumage on their heads and necks that contrasts with their dark brown body feathers.

These birds primarily hunt small mammals such as rabbits, groundhogs, and squirrels, but they have also been known to prey on larger animals like deer and pronghorns.

Golden eagles are highly adaptable and can be found in a variety of habitats including deserts, grasslands, forests, and mountains. They are known for their strong and agile flying ability, often staying aloft for hours at a time while soaring on thermal updrafts.

While they are apex predators in their environments, golden eagles are also vulnerable to human activities such as habitat loss, electrocution on power lines, and illegal hunting. Conservation efforts have been put in place to protect and conserve this majestic species.
